App Due: July 27 2006 The Memory of John Henderson who was a player, coach, manager, referee and administrator for over 50 years in the London and Provincial circles shall be forever remembered in the naming of this tournament after him. John was a devoted worker for this sport until his death in 1977. Soccer was a part of his walk of life and there wasn't a day that went by that he wasn't in contact with the game. The playing of this International Youth Tournament in London is our way of paying tribute to "Mr. Soccer" John Henderson. He was always talking about Soccer for the children and was often heard saying, "Give the game back to the Kids". The Henderson Memorial Tournament is rated in the top two largest tournaments in Ontario.
