Competition categories include boys and girls teams U-8 through U-16 with divisions within each age group. Division I is comprised of premier and highly competitive travel teams (including MAPLE). Division II includes competitive travel and city/town clubs. Teams in the U-8 age group play 8 v 8; teams in the U-10, U-12, U-14 and U-16 age groups will play 11 v 11. The two day format has teams playing two group play games on Saturday and one Sunday morning: Finals will be played Sunday afternoon at 1 and 3 PM. 2003 brings the third year of the promising partnership between the Melbourne Challenge tournament and Cocoa Expo. With this partnership, the Cocoa Expo will host the the U15 - U19 Boys and Girls, with the Challenge Tournaments hosting all other divisions. Last years tournament saw over 200 boys teams participate from PA, NJ, DE, NY, CT, MD and VA. Age groups are divided into three divisions (Premier, A and B). Trophies are awarded to first and second place finishers from each division. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of three games. All finals will be played on Sunday afternoon.
