This was the first girls only tournament of this sort on the East Coast. Last year, during our 9th Annual Tournament, over 175 institutions were represented by recruiters or coaches as over 400 girls from 24 teams played in a showcase format. More than than 300 hundred coaches have been invited to the tournament with special emphasis on Eastern colleges and universities. The tournament is geared to players in their senior year of high school who wish to play soccer at the collegiate level. A select number of teams will be invited to attend along with teams submitting applications. We have accepted premier level teams comprised of junior year players, but only a few. Acceptance is a function of team composition by level of play, age, and application receipt, other factors may also be included at the discretion of the Tournament Committee.
