Annual) - Germantown, TN Hosted By: Germantown Area Soccer Association Boys & Girls U15-U19 (younger age groups on 12/08~09) Entry Fee: $475 Description: The VOLVO Germantown Invitational Tournament is our club’s premier event. It is held the first two weekends in December every year. The first weekend we host U15 - U19 boys and girls, the second weekend we host U11 - U14 boys and girls. This year’s tournament will be our 23rd. We will play the majority of the games at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex in Southeast Shelby County. The complex is the home of 16 lighted, manicured FIFA regulation size soccer fields. The 3000 seat stadium was opened this fall. The complex hosted the 2001 Region III Tournament. We accepted 240 teams last year from 15 different states. We regularly have over 50 state finalists, as well as regional and national finalists. We also have some teams from out of the country. Last year we entertained two from Argentina. We invite over 600 college coaches to attend the VOLVO GIT every year. We also have player profile information for our 17, 18 and 19-year-old teams to fill out and make available for the coaches. Max Guests: 4 Entry Fee: $295 (U9-U15), $350 (U16-U19), PLUS Individual Player Fee of $23 per player Description: The Cocoa Expo Cup is Cocoa Expo's largest tournament. The Cocoa Expo Cup attracts over 200 teams and over 100 college coaches every year. Teams come from all over the United States and the world for this tournament. The Cocoa Expo Cup is a great opportunity for the college bound soccer player. It is also a great experience for the younger player. This tournament lasts five days, Thursday through Monday. Group play games will be played Thursday through Sunday. Generally teams will have one game per day and one day off to sight-see. Some age groups will have quarterfinals on Sunday. The semifinals and finals will be played on Monday; the semifinals games will be played at 8:00am and 10:00am. The finals will be played at 1:00pm and 3:00pm.
