The structure of and numbers of teams eligible for Championship will be determined by the Board of Directors.  The standings of teams in League competition will be used to determine flight winners. The flight winner is the team with the most points.  (WIN-3 points, TIE-1 point, LOSS-0 points) If the season ends and more that one team in the flight have identical high point totals, the League will declare CO-winners. There will be at least one flight winner in each flight.

FLIGHT WINNERS ARE DETERMINED ON POINTS ONLY!
GOALS FOR OR AGAINST HAVE NO BEARING ON THE OUTCOME.

Teams winning their flight will receive awards for each player (max. 18 / 14).

The cutoff date for determination of flight winners is the last Sunday of regularly scheduled games.  (This may be extended 1 week due to rescheduled games that have been pre-approved by the Games Chair.)

Flight Winner Eligibility:

1)  Clubs must be in good standing with MCYSA.
2)  Teams must play all scheduled games.
3)  Teams must have no forfeits during the season.

Any scheduled games not played by the season cutoff date are considered a forfeit.  Teams with forfeits are ineligible as Flight Winners - regardless of the number of points they have been awarded during the season.

Flight Winners are posted at the end of the season as soon as the flight is completed and closed out.
