CHANGE for 10/18: Workshop will
be at
EISENHOWER MIDDLE SCHOOL
In the interest of continuous improvement and development of Referees, the
MCYSA will be hosting 4 Workshops for Referees. The
second of this series is
scheduled for Thursday, October 18th, 7:30 PM at the
Eisenhower Middle School. Additional workshops will be provided free to participants on the
3rd Thursday of September 2007, October 2007, April 2008, and May 2008. Directions to the
EISENHOWER MIDDLE SCHOOL can be found at
HERE.
The second workshop on 10/18 will feature the following presentations:
 | Recognizing Foul Play - A Referee
Guide |
The September workshop was well attended
with over 60 Referees present. This months topic will be focused on
recognizing foul play. There will 75-80 minutes of instruction followed by a
10-15 minutes of Q&A and updates on recent games in the league.
All MCYSA Referees are invited to attend in
addition to coaches interested in a Referees perspective.
Feedback from last months workshop was
excellent so don't miss out on this opportunity. Those interested in their
development as a Referee are encouraged to attend and Referees with less
than 2 seasons of experience with the MCYSA are expected to attend.
There will be a small gift from the league
provided for the first 50 attendees.
