Eating places nearby the field, all on Rt. 519, within 3/4 mile of the field are:
~ Charlie Brown's (very close to school, food ok, no breakfast);
~ Alpha Pizza and Sub Shop (about 1/4 mile from school, great for lunch with sandwiches, subs, and pizza);
~ Alpha Family Restaurant (about 1/4 mile from school, best breakfast in the area);
~ Doc's Doghouse (about 1/2 mile, great dogs and burgers).

From junction of Interstate routes 287 and 78

Take route 78 west to exit 3, the last exit in NJ.
-- The exit will be US Route 22 for Phillipsburg.

Stay to the right when 78 splits and go through the first light

After the light go RIGHT into the jug handle-the sign says Alpha 122-You are getting off of the highway

Go straight through the light-you will be crossing the highway you were just on
--- This is New Brunswick Avenue (Holiday Inn will be on your right)

Stay on New Brunswick Avenue until the first stoplight (An old school will be on your right)

Make a LEFT at this light towards Alpha Route 519

This road is Hawk Ave (Route 519) turns into 3rd Avenue

Pohatcong Elementary school is 1.3 miles on the left

Enter school property and follow driveway to back of school.

From State Route 57 in Hackettstown

From Hackettstown, follow Rt. 57 south for approximately 20 miles.
-- You will go through the towns of Washington, Broadway, New Village, and enter Greenwich Township.

After leaving Washington, you will proceed for approximately 8 miles and enter Greenwich Township.

Continue on 57 through the first light in Greenwich, and at the next light, you are at the intersection of Rt 57 and County Rt 519.

Turn left here and continue on route 519 south until you reach the school as described above.
