RE: 6/13 and 6/20 Division 2 games
Most of you have found the additional Division 2 games added to the
schedule in the last two weeks of the season (6/13 and 6/20). They were
all posted on the website on Saturday and Sunday. As described in
earlier emails, each team has an added home game and away game in order
to give them a full 10 game season.
I'm finding many of you have already added the extra games to your
schedules. If anyone is having any difficulty, the attached file lists
all the new HOME games. It's sorted by Club and then Date. If it's any
easier you can now just copy the line(s) for your home games and add
them to your HGSF.

TO: FIELD SCHEDULERS & LEAGUE CONTACTS
Your Home Game Schedule Files (HGSF) have all been linked in the Field
Scheduler area on the website. I see some of you have already found
them:
TO: League Contacts & Field Schedulers
HOME GAME SCHEDULE FILES
- In case you have not already downloaded, the HGSF's are linked in the
Field Scheduler area. From home page: CLUB link on left, then FIELD
SCHEDULER link, then SCHEDULE FILES link
FIELD OPEN DATES
- for those whose fields will not be open for 04/11 - where ever
possible games were scheduled as away games. Field Open dates listed in
the Club Registrations were used as the guideline. You'll see that it is
a great majority that will play away. You may be left with just a few to
work out. If your opponent has an available field, make arrangements to
play it there on the scheduled date. If neither club does not have an
available field, work out a reschedule for a different day.
FIELD RESOURCES
- there was quite a bit of effort spent on evening out the number of
games per day based on the available fields you listed in your club
registration. It never works out 100%, but you should not find many
instances where you have more games to schedule than available fields on
a given day. Of course if the open date or number of fields submitted in
your club registration was wrong your HGSF schedule may be a little more
challenging.
PCNS
- Most all games designated with a PCN will be listed on the home teams
HGSF. There are a handful of games that may show as the opponents PCN,
but those could not be avoided. Please remember all games designated as
PCN's need to be rescheduled. Share the fun and get your coaches
involved now to get those games settled so you can include the new Game
Date, time and field when you return your file.
SPECIAL REQUESTS
- Almost all special requests were able to be fit into the game
schedule.
WEATHER COOPERATING
- Most of the snow is melting
OOPS
- I just realized that all Division 2 flights (U15 & U16) have only an 8
game schedule. They should have a 10 game schedule. Many thanks goes to
Ed Moen from Bridgewater United for reporting it so quickly! Now I just
need to figure out how to adjust the schedule. This should have minimal
impact on the field schedulers as the fix will add only ONE extra home
game for you for each of your D2 teams. Since it's just a small fix do
not let it stop your time/field scheduling. I'll be in contact with you
individually this weekend to let you know where the game will be added.
This affects about half of the clubs.
COMPLETED SCHEDULES
- due back no later than Saturday Night, March 20th. As discussed at the
Schedulers meeting: they need to be on time, they need to be complete,
all new game dates listed must have been agreed to by both teams/clubs,
incomplete schedulers (or those with inaccurate information) can earn
penalties for each week it remains incomplete.
Files must be emailed back as an attachment to either mcysa(at)comcast.net
or MCYSAWeb(at)gmail.com
It doesn't matter which you use, but only use one address as they both
come to me.
Thank you for your help with the schedules.
Looking forward to an enjoyable season for all!
Respectfully,
Debbie Turner
