Downloading your SPRING 2011 HOME GAME SCHEDULE FILES:

RIGHT CLICK on the appropriate link for your club below to save the file, or 'target', onto your machine.  Do NOT try to open the spreadsheet and fill in on line as any changes can not be saved to the online file.  You need to DOWNLOAD (by right clicking) your file onto your machine. 

Files must be completed and you will need to work with your assignor between now and 03/24 so they can review your schedule.  If they see any potential problems for referee assignments they'll suggest changes to your schedule.   Please do your best to work with them and honor their requests as they are only trying to make sure all your games have proper referee coverage - and that benefits everyone.   Please make any modifications you need to and return your completed schedule to the MCYSA Scheduler no later than Friday 03/25/2011.  Files are returned as ATTACHMENTS to Debbie Turner.  After that, any requested changes must comply with published guidelines and must be reported using the online Schedule Change Request.

Scheduling Sunday Games Prior to 1:00 PM:

When can you schedule a Sunday game prior to 1:00 PM?  ANSWER: Only if BOTH teams/clubs agree to an earlier time.  Enter the time in your HGSF before you return it.  There are no time restrictions for other days.

How do you know BOTH teams/clubs agree?  ANSWER: You must have IMPLIED or EXPLICIT consent from both teams if you want to schedule a game prior to 1:00 on a Sunday. 

EXPLICIT Consent: Contact both teams yourself to assure their agreement to an early time - or - Have your coach contact the opponents to discuss an early time and have them forward confirmation to you for your records.  Enter the time in your HGSF before you return it.

IMPLIED Consent: The team registration records asked how early games could be scheduled - and those times are shown in the EARLYH (your home team) and EARLYA (the visiting opponents) columns in the HGSF's.  These times show the Implied Consent of the teams and you can schedule the Sunday game as early as the times listed on the HGSF without contacting the teams.   If there is no time listed in the EARLYH or EARLYA columns, you can assume the default time of 1:00 PM.

Scheduling a game with a New Game Date:

During the time you are working on your HGSF you can schedule ANY game in your schedule to play on a different date by entering it in the NGD (New Game Date) column in the HGSF.  Both teams must agree to the New Game Date and time of the game before you enter it in your HGSF.

If a game is listed with an approved PCN indicator the game will not be played on the date listed.  Those games are listed with red *H*, *O*, or *HO* in the PCN column becasue Preseason Conflict Notices were filed by one or both teams for that date.  H indicates the Home team has a conflict with the scheduled date.  O indicates the Opposing team has a conflict with the scheduled date.  HO indicates both team has a conflict with the scheduled date.

If the conflict was resolved and both teams can play on the original date - the way you indicate that is by entering the original date in the NGD column.

When must I contact both teams regarding the scheduling of a game?:

Do both teams always have to be contact first?  ANSWER: Only if you want to schedule a Sunday game earlier than the times listed on the HGSF or if you are listing a game with a New Game Date.
