The member clubs of MCYSA have teh following guidelines for eligibility in the Select Program.  The spirit of the guidelines is based on the following principles.  The primary mission of MCYSA Select is to provide an advanced training and playing environment to those players who choose MCYSA and its member teams as their primary avenue for experiencing the great game of soccer.  Additionally, we recognize that players playing in MCYSA on a secondary card basis contribute to the overall quality of the soccer experience to participating teams and fans, and as such warrant consideration for participation in Select.  In recognition of these principles, eligibility for Select is as follows:

-- players eligible for Select participation must be either PRIMARY or SECONDARY CARDED to a MCYSA team playing in either the FALL 2007 or Spring 2008 season.

-- players secondary carded to an MCYSA participating team after the official start date of the Spring 2007 season will not be eligible for Select participation.

-- team selection for secondary carded players will be limited in recognition of the primary obligation Select has to its player and club membership.
