General Information

The MCYSA League Select Program is designed to provide young athletes with additional opportunity to improve their soccer skills, to experience the excitement of elite tournament play, and to challenge their abilities by playing at a level beyond the typical league experience.  Over the course of the program, each of our teams will be challenged to play against some of the best teams and best players in the Tri-State Area.  The challenge is great, the number of trophies may be few, but the rewards can last for years.  Ultimately, the reward of participation is improvement in technical and tactical play, meeting new friends, making new teammates, and setting new goals for what you want to achieve as a player.

Plans for the 2011 Summer Select program are to field girls and boys teams in the U11 to U14 Age Groups.  If the talent base permits, we will field multiple teams in a single age division.   Select competition begins after completion of the regular spring league season and consists of participation in 4 highly competitive tournaments in the Tri-State Area.  Each team is professionally coached and a volunteer team administrator handles team management.
